Community Food Assessment
The BNRC is coordinating a food assessment project with a number of community members and partners. The assessment is a community based research project that examines food availability, affordability, accessibility and that ability to use that food safely. The research supports food security programs currently in place in our community and will provide insight into future needs.
In April of 2015, the BNRC will host a community food forum that will allow community members to view research done in conjunction with Brandon University in a public forum and have input into recommendations for better food security in Brandon.
